Abdij van Malonne

The Abbey of Malonne was founded around 651 by the Anglo-Saxon monk St Bertuin, who died there in 698. Successive churches rose on the site over the centuries, including a Romanesque church consecrated in 1193, giving the complex a richly layered building history.
