Abdij Ten Putte

Ten Putte Abbey, nicknamed 'Het Putje' by locals, stands in Gistel on the spot where Saint Godelina was killed in the 11th century. Behind its enclosing wall, whitewashed convent buildings and a lush garden form a peaceful pocket between the Houtland and polder landscapes, home since 2007 to the Mother of Peace community.
