Muiderslot

North Holland· Castle
Description

Muiderslot is a medieval castle at the mouth of the Vecht river in Muiden, built around 1285 and rebuilt from 1370 onward. A national museum since 1878, its moat and drawbridge give it a fairy-tale look that makes it one of the most photogenic castles near Amsterdam.
