Louvain-la-Neuve

Louvain-la-Neuve is a purpose-built university town in Walloon Brabant, created in the 1970s to house the French-speaking Université catholique de Louvain. Its town centre rests on an artificial platform spanning a valley, with all car traffic routed underground so the streets above remain pedestrian-only.
