station Duivendrecht

North Holland· Monument
Description

Duivendrecht station is a combined rail and metro station that opened in 1993 with the extension of the southern Ringspoorbaan around Amsterdam, giving Schiphol a direct connection to Almere and Amersfoort. Located in the municipality of Ouder-Amstel on the edge of the village of Duivendrecht, it is built on two levels: the Amsterdam-Arnhem railway above with the metro running between its tracks, and the Weesp-Leiden line below, housing the station hall.
