Description

Apeldoorn railway station is the city's central station, opened on 15 May 1876 as part of the Oosterspoorweg line between Amersfoort and Zutphen. Built by the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij, the line connected Amsterdam via Apeldoorn towards the German rail network.
