Savelsbos

Limburg (NL)· Forest
Description

Savelsbos is a roughly 6-kilometre belt of slope forest on the eastern Meuse valley near Maastricht, running past villages such as Cadier en Keer, Gronsveld and Eckelrade. Steep slopes with height differences of up to 125 metres, laced with stepped paths, make it one of the most varied woodland landscapes in Dutch Limburg.
