Sallandse Heuvelrug

The Sallandse Heuvelrug, between Hellendoorn and Holten in Overijssel, is one of the Netherlands' few true hill landscapes, covered in expansive heathland. Its rolling purple heather in late summer is a classic subject for nature photographers.
