Polygoonbos

Polygon Wood near Zonnebeke, about 69 hectares in size, is Belgium's second-oldest domain forest and lies a short walk from the village centre. Part of the West-Vlaams Heuvelland Natura 2000 area, it is also remembered as the site of fierce fighting during the First World War.
