Oosterschelde National Park has been an officially protected nature area in Zeeland since 2002 and, at roughly 370 square kilometres, is the largest national park in the Netherlands. It is enclosed by the dikes of Schouwen-Duiveland and Tholen and the dams of the Delta Works.
