IJsselmeer

The IJsselmeer is the vast freshwater lake at the heart of the Netherlands, formed when the Afsluitdijk sealed off part of the former Zuiderzee in 1932. Named after the river IJssel that flows into it, its open horizons and shifting skies make it a favourite subject for landscape photography.
