Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk

South Holland· Religious
Description

The Grote or Sint-Jacobskerk is a late-medieval church and, together with the Binnenhof, ranks among The Hague's oldest buildings. In 1456 the knights of the Order of the Golden Fleece met here and left their coats of arms, and the church is considered the first example of The Hague hall-church type.
