De Eendracht

De Eendracht in Anjum is an octagonal smock mill from 1889, built as a corn and hulling mill to replace an earlier mill destroyed by a lightning strike that same year. Parts of two demolished mills from Leeuwarden were reused in its construction, and it later received an auxiliary engine so it could keep working during calm weather.
