Averbode Abbey is a Premonstratensian abbey in Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, founded around 1134 and re-established in 1834 after its suppression in 1797. Its church, built between 1664 and 1672, blends Baroque and Gothic elements and dominates the abbey complex.
